Fallish

It was a bit fallish here in NH yesterday, finally. I love fall except for the fact that winter follows it but after the hot, hot summer we had it was nice to feel some cool, crisp air. So I whipped up a fall table topper. I have a round oak table in my kitchen so I usually have a small table topper on it so it was time to put away the summer one and pull out some fall colors. Except that I didn't have a fall one so out came the scraps. Hopefully I'll get it quilted today.
Then the next project I think is another quilt from Schnibbles Times Two.
In looking through some fabric I had, I discovered some Chrictmas fabric I have had for a while and it was just enough for Little Red.
This is Minick and Simpson Winter line which I have had for a while. I think I bought it in Maine a few years back so time to use it up. I love how there's a nice light blue in this collection but it still looks Christmas. I got it all cut out yesterday and will hopefully sew a couple test blocks today. So that's what's going on in my sewing room. What's happenning in yours?

  6. Pretty pretty table topper. I can almost see a pumplin fragranced candle sitting in the center of this cloth. Come to think of it, I have such a candle and a round oak table and it would look just perfect in my kitchen eating area.

  7. Fantastic work, as usual. Where do you find the time? I swear your days have more hours in them than mine.

I pray that risen from the dead,
In glory I will stand,
A crown perhaps upon my head,
And a needle in my hand.
