Fallish
It was a bit fallish here in NH yesterday, finally. I love fall except for the fact that winter follows it but after the hot, hot summer we had it was nice to feel some cool, crisp air. So I whipped up a fall table topper. I have a round oak table in my kitchen so I usually have a small table topper on it so it was time to put away the summer one and pull out some fall colors. Except that I didn't have a fall one so out came the scraps. Hopefully I'll get it quilted today.
Then the next project I think is another quilt from Schnibbles Times Two.
In looking through some fabric I had, I discovered some Chrictmas fabric I have had for a while and it was just enough for Little Red.
This is Minick and Simpson Winter line which I have had for a while. I think I bought it in Maine a few years back so time to use it up. I love how there's a nice light blue in this collection but it still looks Christmas. I got it all cut out yesterday and will hopefully sew a couple test blocks today. So that's what's going on in my sewing room. What's happenning in yours?
that will be a pretty schnibble. i liked that line from several years ago, so i can't wait to see how it turns out!
ReplyDeleteLike the table topper! I also like the name of your blog. My cat also is always lying on my quilts!
ReplyDeleteChris, I love your fall table topper pattern. Did you design it?
ReplyDeleteI am going to have to break down & get schnibbles time two book. Looks like some darling patterns.
I'm looking forward to seeing your Schnibble quilt of course! Great table topper...is it quilted today?
ReplyDeleteI like your table topper! Fall just around the corner makes me happy. I am sick of the heat too! Looking forward to your creation from the Schnibble book.
ReplyDeleteHappy quilting!

Pretty pretty table topper. I can almost see a pumplin fragranced candle sitting in the center of this cloth. Come to think of it, I have such a candle and a round oak table and it would look just perfect in my kitchen eating area.
ReplyDeleteFantastic work, as usual. Where do you find the time? I swear your days have more hours in them than mine.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great project. Is it from a magazine or book?
