More Icy Pictures

I don't want to make this into a weather blog but my sister in law took these pictures and they are beautiful. After all she has not had anything else to do, being without power or heat since last Thursday! It finally came back on yesterday. She sent out an e-mail announcing the return of power. It sounded like a birth announcement to me! By the way, it's snowing today. Definitely going to be a white Christmas here.

  1. Lovely photos - glad you have power and your sister's power came back. We're in a NH city, so we only lost it for a few hours the first day, family members weren't so lucky - and more snow is predicted for Friday and Monday! Santa will have no trouble getting to New Hampshire!

  3. Brrrr! We're having cold temps and snow here but not as bad as where you are. We don't usually get it like this so early in the season. Stay warm and safe!

  6. Stunning pictures...I love the bluejay!!

Having been though an ice storm myself (1998) It is amazing the things that can be so exciting...power and hot water are definitely some of the things to shout "yippee" about.

  9. Those are fantastic photos. Glad I don't have to live with it though. How does your SIL get on when the power is out? How do they keep warm?

I pray that risen from the dead,
In glory I will stand,
A crown perhaps upon my head,
And a needle in my hand.
