Something Quilty

You must think I don't quilt anymore but there has been some quilty things going on. Just got distracted by nice weather and a sick cat which have nothing to do with each other. Anyhoo, I made a baby quilt for a shower that is coming up.
I used all scraps in this quilt which is a big goal of mine this past year in order to use up what I have. I had several juvenile prints that I had used previously.
And you might recognize the layout as that same as I did in the vegetable quilt below.
It's such an easy layout to do by either separating the fabrics by value, as in the baby quilt, or by design, as in the vegetable quilt. So next up is the Miss Rosie pattern, Return to Sender with all scraps again. Lots of rotary cutting in my future!

  1. A lovely little quilt for a baby!
I love using scraps from stash.

  2. That is an awesome baby quilt!! So lively and colorful but not overpowered with babyishness. I love it!

  3. What a sweet quilt! I've been trying to use what I've got in my fabric stash, too. It's easier said than done, LOL.

  4. What a great pattern. I love seeing the different fabrics and how it completely changes the quilt *s* Hope that kitty is feeling good now!

  5. That is an adorable baby quilt!

  6. I love Miss Rosie patterns, and returnt o sender is one of my favorites. The baby quilt turned out so well! I have a baby quilt to make too, and I might use a simialr pattern! Great idea! Love the scrappy look too!

  7. I love the quilt design.. great use of scraps. Scrap quilts are my favorite!

  8. What an adorable baby quilt... some new mother will be very happy!

  9. Love these. How fun they are. Another something I missed.

How long has this been going on!?

I pray that risen from the dead,
In glory I will stand,
A crown perhaps upon my head,
And a needle in my hand.
