Pulling Fabric

So I finsished on project and am thinking about starting another. I finished the fall quilt I was making, except for the binding. I love the leaf quilting my long arm friend did.

Then I have been pulling fabrics from the stash to make a new quilt. I have a couple of designs in mind but haven't decided which to do yet. One of my favorite things to do is to combine all sorts of fabric. I love scrap quilts and you just can't get the right look with fat quarters from a designer collection. So I have been playing with my fabrics and having fun.

It has been awfully rainy and cold here so I am hoping summer arrives soon - like this Friday when I am off to Cape Cod. Keep your fingers crossed.

  2. Your Autumn quilt is beautiful - such lovely fabrics. I am a scrappy quilter too and love delving about throwing fabrics together - much more fun than using one line xx

  7. I adore the colors in your Autumn quilt. The Border fabric is wonderful. Hope the weather is good for your visit. Here in England it is not too cold but rainy. One minute we are in t-shirts next back in jumpers! Susie x

In glory I will stand,
A crown perhaps upon my head,
And a needle in my hand.
