Welcome 2011

I had a terribly exciting New Year's Eve. Stayed in with a hubby and a bag of Cheese Doodles! Good times! I was exactly where I wanted to be. The best part of Christmas were the four quilts I made for grandsons, DD and DIL.

I think I loved making the above tumbler quilt the most. It was made using the Accuquilt Go tumbler die and every scrap of Christmas fabric I had, which were many. I love scrap quilts and love how scrappy this one looks. Going to have to make myself one of these too. I've got several quilting projects in mind for 2011, one of which I have started and will show later on this week. In the meantime, have a Happy New Year!

  4. My #1 favorite quilt photos are the ones with the smiling new owners. Your photos are wonderful. It's easy to see how your quilts are appreciated.
Happy New Year to you and yours.

  5. Hi, Chris! Love the quilts and the pics of family...looks like the family loves their new quilts. Great finishes for 2010. I also love the tumbler - have the smaller accucut tumbler on order, should be in any time now. I was thinking of doing a small tumbler fabric swap, that's how much I love it! Happy New Year to you and yours. Hope your 2011 is healthy and abundant!

  6. The quilts are gorgeous and I love the sock monkey one. I went thrift store shopping today and came home with three brand new kits for miniature sock monkeys. I've never made one and can hardly wait to get started. The little socks in the kit are soooooo cute!

I pray that risen from the dead,
In glory I will stand,
A crown perhaps upon my head,
And a needle in my hand.
