Here's What I'm Up To

I started a new quilt recently from the Schnibbles Times Two book that I love so much. I made these two over the summer from that book. Now I am working with the Little Red pattern and once again this is a wonderful pattern with easy directions that goes together beautifully.
The pressing directions are especially helpful when you go to stitch the blocks together. They go together so easily. This may look like a hard block but I am telling you it is one of the easiest blocks I've ever done. I just love it. I can see making this pattern over and over.
I have the top three rows sewn together so far and will get to the others hopefully tomorrow. I'm pretty sure I'll make the small version at some point when I see a fabric collecton that inspires me. Until then I'll be in the sewing room.

  3. On my blog, I JUST asked if anyone knew the name of this fabric line. Can you help me? I need some fabric for backing and or possibly just binding and have no idea where to look for it. Thanks!!

  15. I love the colors of that fabric. Some of it reminds me of retro (1950's/1960's) wrapping paper, of my childhood.

In glory I will stand,
A crown perhaps upon my head,
And a needle in my hand.
