Check Out This Blog
I am absolutely hooked on The Selvage Blog. I don't know how I came across this blog but I love looking at it and imagining some new projects like this,
or this.
There are a lot of great pictures on this blog so check it out. Has anyone out there ever made something with selvage? I love seeing selvages now because they are so colorful. The older fabrics don't seem to have such pretty selvages. Now if only I had started saving them sooner. Just a new excuse to buy new fabrics (like I needed an excuse)!
I love Karen's blog, too ... SO many ideas and possibilities!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen this one but oh so cute. I love the ornaments!!! Thanks for sharing. I'll go check it out. ;)
ReplyDeleteI love the ornaments and quilt as a Christmas tree skirt.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing these great ideas,

ReplyDeleteI love that blog but I hadn't seen the little tree ornaments...cute!!
ReplyDeleteI love that blog too. I was inspired to make a bag - there's a picture of it in my blog not too far back. I had SO much fun making it and am busy saving more selvedges for something else.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for featuring my selvedge tree skirt and ornaments on your blog! I have been saving selvedges from my quilting projects for over 15 years and there is no limit to what we can create with them. And just how do you keep the cat hair off your quilts? My 2 cats thinks everything quilty belongs to them!
ReplyDeleteJust think of all the selveges we've thrown out over the years. Those little ornaments are darling *s*
