An Annie Finds a Home

Who is that sitting in my sewing room? I was the lucky recipient of an Annie made by fellow New Hampshireite, Erin, at Go Doodles 'N Quilt. She has a new website to sell her creations called Hannies Annies. Make sure you go check that website out and see the first picture with all those adorable dolls.
Anyway, my Annie is living in my sewing room and I can't tell you how much she cheers me up. She is holding a spool of thread so she is a sewer like me! My grandmother's name was Annie and she was a seamstress too. Maybe she'll motivate me to get some sewing done as I have done nothing lately. The end of the school year at the college where I work was very, very busy and I can't seem to get myself going now that I am off for the summer. I have a lot of projects nearing completion so hopefully I'll be posting some finished pieces here soon. Until then, happy sewing.

I pray that risen from the dead,
In glory I will stand,
A crown perhaps upon my head,
And a needle in my hand.
