I am Loving Green in January!
Since I bought those green buttons I seem to see green everywhere! I stopped in a thrift shop this morning while out running some errands and found this great green platter for $6. I just love the color and simple style and can picture so many things on it. I seriously think I am obsessed with green lately because it is so green outside in NH right now. Usually by now we are buried in feet of snow but it is in the mid 60's today and raining! Unheard of here. I glanced out a window this morning and noticed that the forsythia bushes seem to be budding out. They think it's Spring. I know we'll be hit with freezing cold and snow soon but for now I am loving the green in January!
What a delightful find *s* I'm right with you loving the color. We continue to have unseasonal weather. Clear, dry and windy seems to be the winter of 2007. Our promised rains on Thursday dried up before they got the patio completely wet. I hope a change is in store soon.
ReplyDeleteCompletely different for us! We're having serious rains, cold weather, and not much sun. I'm actually not liking winter very much this year :)
ReplyDeletePS, I live in Louisiana
I know what you mean, not that the South of England ever see's snow but I did'nt expect a perfectly beautiful and fragrant rose to be blooming in the front garden this Christmas.

Another great find and such a wonderful colour. We're having a warm yet windy winter so far. However the cold is coming in a couple of days.
ReplyDeleteLove the platter
ReplyDeleteJust our 2nd winter here in Texas and it seems colder this year than last- but we are getting more much needed rain than we did last so hopefullly the drought will ease.
