Proof of This Blog Name

If anyone wondered why I chose this title for my blog here is the proof. I didn't take long after getting the tree up for Miss Penny to find the quilted tree skirt and Oscar is on one of his favorite perches where he can observe everything around him and rule like the king he thinks he is.

  2. Beautiful cats! No wonder you named your blog after them.

  3. Aww, so sweet! I really wish I wasn't allergic to kitties...they make the greatest pets, not mention they're so snuggly (well, when they want to be, lol!)

  5. I have a black cat just like that, but unfortunately for him his owner isn't a talented quilt maker like yourself, and he has no such luxury as lying on a beautiful hand sewn work of art.

  6. Your cats are beautiful! And they know where to good places in the house are. :)

BTW, I'm glad you reposted your comment to my blog about not liking Martha. ;) For some reason Blogger wouldn't let me publish it and I didn't want you to think that I wasn't posting it! I know someone who has a friend who works for Martha and doesn't like her either. I like the BRAND that is Martha, the ideas, the magazine and not really the person. You know all sorts of other creative folks anyway LOL

  7. I also have two cats but they areen't lucky enough to have a mommy that quilts. They have to suffer with a cozy chair or an un-made bed.

  8. Your quilts are beautiful! Thank you for visiting my blog! I agree your kitties are beautiful too! I have a dog that enjoys doing the same thing! I know your kitties wouldn't like to be compared to a dog...but we couldn't have a cat due to allergies also!

I pray that risen from the dead,
In glory I will stand,
A crown perhaps upon my head,
And a needle in my hand.
