No Treats Just Tricks

A foot of snow and a devasted maple tree in October! Add to that no power and we are having buckets of fun. They say we may not have power for days. This is when I wish I had a treadle machine. I did manage to get a quilt partially cut out so I did have a productive day.

  1. Poor you, without power. We had snow here in NJ too, and some people are without power, but no problems here.

  2. Oh you poor thing - this is when you need to be a hand piecer -not that would ever happen with me! I guess the only quilty thing you can do now is snuggle...hope you are keeping warm.

  3. Chris,
I know what this feels like- we get snow like that too early in the year but more often in the spring. The snow is so wet and heavy that it is hard to shovel and make the roads very slick.
I hope you are keeping safe.
    Warmest regards,

  4. After last winter, you've not gotten much of a break.

  5. brrrr...please its not time for snow!! I hope your power is back on by the time you read my comment.

  6. Good for you we're in the same boat. No power. Hanging at the Holyoke mall getting warm.

  7. I am so sorry about the snow. I thought of your first thing when I heard about the storm. :(

I pray that risen from the dead,
In glory I will stand,
A crown perhaps upon my head,
And a needle in my hand.
