Please go to my sister's blog and read about her making of this fantastic quilt. This from a girl who only started quilting a couple of years ago. I love it!
Oh my goodness. This is a real stunner. It isn't just beautiful but it inspires me when I look at it. There's really some fantastic creativity at work here. Dang!!! What talent. Seriously!
HUGS to my big sis for showing off my quilt AND especially for leading me into the quilting world!!
As for my sense of color, this quilt is made exactly as designed by Kaffe Fassett--his fabrics, his design. Can't take credit where it's not due! I learned a lot about color while working with this piece. I learned about combinations of color and pattern that would not normally occur to me.
I am a wife, mother of a grown son and daughter, mother-in-law, grandmother of two grandsons, keeper of a calico cat, quilter, continuous decorator of my home, and owner of way too much fabric and just trying to have fun in my great life.
