my thoughts are with you at your sad loss and know only time will heal but *!$% it takes so long to stop hurting. I hate that but know that all that love was a joy to have had.

ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry for your loss, those darn 4 legged kids sure leave big paw prints on our hearts. Thank you for loving this cat for all those years and keeping Oscar safe and well fed. All critters need a home while they are here!
ReplyDeleteMy mother-in-law recently died. In her final days she was talking to people we couldn't see. And then she exclaimed "Stubby!" She was seeing my little dog who had died while she was sick and she didn't know he was gone. Proof! Oscar is waiting for you on the Rainbow Bridge. Take care,

ReplyDeleteOh Chris, I am so sorry. Knowing how I feel about my own cats, I can only imagine the loss and sadness you feel. I hope you have many memories and photos to remind you of how much you loved him and he loved you. In my thoughts...
ReplyDeleteI had a beloved Siamese also named Oscar, who died too young of cancer. The passing of a pet leaves a big hole in our hearts and in our homes.

Oh no! :( I had you saved on my "blogs I like to visit" list but hadn't been here in awhile. I think I stumbled across your blog last year during the OWOH Blogathon ... it might have even been a link on someone else's blogs and the mention of cats in your blog name caught my attention. I'm so sorry to see that you've lost your beloved Oscar. He was a beautiful cat and obviously brought much joy into your life for all these years.

ReplyDeleteI am so sorry for the passing of Oscar. We don't want our animals suffering. I know he has lots of company in heaven. I have several cats and some dogs up there roaming around.
