Get Thyself to Home Goods

If you have Home Goods in your area you should get yourself there. I got these wonderful storage boxes for my sewing room there and I love them. They were only $5.99 each. I would love to redecorate this room but until that happens I do the best with what I have. One of the things I have is ugly wallpaper that was there when we bought the house in 1984! But I bought an ironing board cover there last fall that matches the wallpaper nicely and these boxes look good with it too. So for now this is it. There are lots of unfinished projects in those boxes right now so maybe this will be the year I get those done. I doubt it.

  1. These are very neat boxes. I store mine stuff in plastic containers, which I know isn't real good for fabric, but I am out of closet room, lol

  4. So am I seeing cloth boxes with labels and lids. That would mean I could go from UFO meaning unfinished object to up front organization. What will the quilting gods think. Will have to find a Home Goods.

  5. No Home Goods for me:( You just never can have too many storage boxes, can you?? I'm trying to keep all of my craft stuff organized in different containers, but some days it all gets away from me!

  8. Very nice sewing roon. And your little Featherweight is cute too. I bought one a few months ago and have rarely used it because it is so pretty, I am afraid I will break it. Do you quilt with yours?

  9. I love a quilt with little kitty heads on it. Quilts are a purrrfect way to wrap their little kitty heads and little pink noses! My friends Sly, Junior and Bong came over the other night and we wrapped all our kitty heads in our quilt and kissed their pretty little ears! Then we pray.

I pray that risen from the dead,
In glory I will stand,
A crown perhaps upon my head,
And a needle in my hand.
