Back to Normal
I think we are back to normal here after last weekend's drama. My hubby is good as new and there has been no repeat of the passing out. I can't tell you all the things that went through my mind as I drove him to the hospital. Thank you all for all the prayers and good wishes. I felt them all.Now on to happier topics like quilting! Here is another Spring quilt that I have up. I made this one from a commercial pattern a few years ago and just love it. It was hand appliqued and hand quilted. I wish I had the time now to do all that hand work because I love to do it but time seems to be in short supply lately so I tend to use my sewing machine more. I wish time wasn't so fleeting. It always seems likes I am fighting to find extra time to do this or that. But after my hubby's hospital stay of last weekend I am trying to learn to cherish every minute and not worry about the lack of time. It will take me a while to get there but hopefully I'll find this a little easier. Have a great week.
Your lesson on cherishing every minute is one for all of us...thank you. Glad your husband is well...no more scares! Your quilt is just a breath of spring.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear things are beginning to return to normal in you home. It's often hard to remember to slow down and take time - but we're always glad when we do *s*
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog and I am enjoying it. Thank you so much for leaving a comment on my blog "Simply Quilted". I hope your DH has no more medical problems. I can sympathize as I've been going through some medical issues with my DH recently too. I want to also comment that your quilt is so pretty. I hope you have a great week. :)
ReplyDeleteGlad your hubby is doing okay. And that quilt is just gorgeous. I like your new "leaf" of not worrying about time as well.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad your husbund is getting better. Don't worry about time. If you have time for your family, for your friends and for yourself then you have enough time. Your quilt is so appropriate for this easter season. I love it.
ReplyDeleteWe should all learn that lesson...I know I need that. I am so glad things are back to normal and your husband is feeling well.
ReplyDeleteI have been through a few things along those lones and it is terrifying.
Your quilt is just amazingly lovely! A sweet Spring treat.
You are so talented and creative!
Hugs,
Sue
What a pretty pattern. I love those colors, too. So glad your husband is okay.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely quilt! I am just starting out on the quilting journey so it's very inspirational to see such beautiful work.
