Just One Last Thrifty Find

My daughter has expressed an interest in doing some more sewing but since she doesn't live here anymore and doesn't have access to all the sewing supplies, she asked for some sewing things for Christmas. So I've been gathering them but wanted to put them in something besides a basket or a box. This is what I found at our local consignment shop this morning and I think it is perfect. I have one that is similar that I bought at a yard sale 20 years ago full of buttons and it has come in handy. So Merry Christmas Doodles!

  1. One of the most exciting days was when The Princess expressed an interest in learning to sew *s* Looks like you are getting your girl off to a great start.

  2. My 14 yr old son has expressed an interest in sewing. I guess I should encourage that so he'll be able to sew his own buttons back on unlike his dad!
Neat little box, great colours and handles to boot.

I pray that risen from the dead,
In glory I will stand,
A crown perhaps upon my head,
And a needle in my hand.
